Medical Advocacy & Care Coordination
July 30, 2026 @ 5:00 pm - 6:00 pm

This session focuses on Medical advocacy and helps individuals and families navigate a complex healthcare system with confidence. It means making sure a person’s needs, goals, and rights guide every decision. A medical advocate helps communicate with providers, organize information, understand diagnoses and treatment options, and prepare for appointments. They watch for gaps in care, ask the hard questions, and make sure nothing important gets overlooked. Medical advocacy provides people with the support they need to make informed choices, receive timely care, and feel heard throughout the process.
